Lake District map cushions

Map cushions showing Keswick, Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake 

Braithwaite Court, a holiday centre near Keswick in the Lake District, commissioned a number of cushions for their entrance hall. The cushions feature maps of nearby Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwent Water and are a focal point when guests are welcomed. The images are from an Ordnance Survey map published in 1947. 

Braithwaite Court is owned by the Holiday Property Bond.  

Hebden Bridge Festival cushions

The Map Chair which featured in the festival's Poetry Shop in 2004 is still in the festival box office and always attracts plenty of attention. This year I produced map cushions for sale during the festival. They show 3 local areas: Hebden Bridge, Hardcastle Crags and Mytholmroyd.

Cushions are printed on unbleached linen or white organic cotton.

Map Cushions - Dartington

These cushions show the area around Totnes and are available to buy here, the stunning modernist house on the Dartington Estate near Totnes in Devon, which the National Trust opened to the public earlier this year.
